The Peculiar People is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), one of the largest and fastest growing pentecostal churches in the world. RCCG started in 1952 with just 12 members but has today grown into a mega church with parishes spread across the five continents of the world and having Pastor E.A Adeboye as the General Overseer. In 2004, a new parish of RCCG was set up in Saskatoon called Jesus House, under the leadership of Pastor Jide Oyetuga. It was the first RCCG church in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada. The Peculiar People’s Parish, an offshoot of Jesus House was inaugurated on October 14, 2012 in Regina and held her first service at Glencarin Neighbourhood Center on October 21, 2012 with 10 adults and 5 children, with Pastor Lekan Shaba as the pioneer Pastor. The church grew rapidly within few months, holding a single service on Sunday morning and presently worships at 1771 Bond Street in Regina Saskatchewan, a property which was recently bought as result of the increased growth that God brought upon HIS church. The church is a mix of adults, young professionals, young families and students from both the University of Regina (U of R) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Please join us as we unravel together this never ending stories of God’s love and favour in every area of your life. We welcome you to the peculiar people’s parish, where we pronounce His power, pursue His purpose and proclaim His praise. We are happy people….loving people.
